What does an AI frontend engineer actually do?
I build the product surface where users meet an AI system — chat interfaces, streaming responses, AI-assisted search and forms, and the state handling that keeps them usable. That includes the parts most demos skip: grounding answers in your content, guardrails against confident wrong answers, cost and rate limiting, escalation to a human, and accessible loading and error states. I also build the conventional web and mobile product around those features.
